Colonial Subaru is owned and operated by the Beylouni Family. We believe it is our family approach to doing business that has helped us stand apart from our competition. The Beylouni family has a long history of serving the greater Danbury community dating back to 1948 when our Grandfather, George Beylouni, moved from Bridgeport to Danbury to open a grocery business. In 1962 George backed his son Raymond, later joined by brother, George Jr in the automobile business. Now with over 44 years of Automobile experience, the current dealerships are run by David R. Beylouni, President and his younger brother, Darren R. Beylouni, Vice President. Their Father, Raymond, Chairman of the Board, is also active in the dealerships day to day management. The Subaru Dealership is managed by George Samaha, a Danbury native who has over 20 years of hands on Subaru Experience. He has worked with the Beylouni family since 1983.

We're excited to announce that Motor Trend named the Subaru Forester its 2009 Sport/Utility of the YearTM because it does all the things that matter most in an SUV, incredibly well. We built Forester with uncompromising safety, go-anywhere capability and lasting durability, so when it came to making a choice out of an exceptional field, the Forester stood out.
After experiencing its road-gripping Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Motor Trend said "when it gets on dirt, it almost encourages you to go faster." The judges also noted that Forester had "the best observed fuel economy for an all-wheel drive SUV in this year's competition." After all, there's no point in having go-anywhere capability if you can't afford to get where you're going.
